Anne Johnson, NDSU Office of Admission associate director, has been selected for United Way of Cass-Clay’s 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program. The program aims to inspire local women to realize and develop their leadership skills.

“I am honored to be selected for the 2023 35 under 35 leadership group. I am eager to connect with other female leaders and grow personally and professionally. I can’t wait to get started,” Johnson said. “I think what I learn through the program will help me in my role at NDSU as I lead my team in the Office of Admission.”

The program includes sessions on goal setting, communication, personal growth, board leadership, public speaking and conflict management.

“United Way inspires and activates our community to improve lives. The United Way 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program helps fulfill that mission by inspiring local women from all backgrounds to make a difference, enhancing the impact of women across our workplaces, homes and community and energizing the collective power of women,” said Tiffany McShane, United Way director of community engagement.

Selectees must be a woman living or working in Cass or Clay Counties, be 23-35 years of age and commit to attending all six training sessions.

Johnson joined the NDSU staff in 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Middle Tennessee State University and is working toward her master’s degree in sociology at NDSU.
