Bonsai This! Introduction

Bonsai Plant

The bonsai name came from the Japanese words meaning shallow container “bon” and the word plant “sai” (Noden, par 3). Although, popular to belief, the bonsai was first introduced into the world by the Chinese. Scriptures can be found, with instructions, dating back to the Tang Dynasty (Olsen par 1). The term bonsai, in most cultures, relates to the dwarfism or shrubs and plants (Norden). This ethically pleasing past time is used all around the world for its healing attributes, and discipline techniques (BSB).
