Welcome to Food Preservation 101!
NDSU Extension and Cankdeska Cikana Community College have partnered to bring you five educational modules on food preservation!
About The Course
- Take this course completely online, at your own pace and in the comfort of your home (lessons are pre-recorded)
- Course topics include Drying, Fermenting, Water Bath Canning, Pressure Canning and Freezing
- To access the course, participants must register to receive an enrollment code. Once participants have the code, they can enroll in the course on the Extension Foundation website.
- Participants will receive certificates of completion for completing modules
Winter Session Schedule
- Registration opens January 1, 2025
- Enrollment/course begins February 1, 2025
- Last day to enroll is March 15, 2025
- Course ends May 15, 2025 (all modules must be completed)
Spring/Summer Session Schedule
- Registration opens May 1, 2025
- Enrollment/course begins June 1, 2025
- Last day to enroll is July 15, 2025
- Course ends September 15, 2025 (all modules must be completed)
