Sport Management Program Information
Students selected into the Sport Management Program are eligible to enroll in previously restricted (upper division) courses.
Transfer Students
All transfer students (from other institutions or from other programs on campus) must complete an application in order to be considered for acceptance into the Sport Management Program. Transfer students must be accepted into the Sport Management Program before they can enroll in upper division sport management courses.
Course Restrictions
The following courses are restricted to students accepted into the Sport Management Program:
HNES 303 Sport Communication and New Media
HNES 304 Sport Promotion and Public Relations
HNES 323 Sport Ethics
HNES 414 International Sport
HNES 426 Sport Administration
HNES 431 Sport Law
HNES 436 Sport Facility and Event Management
HNES 444 Sport Funding and Commerce
HNES 485 Sport Management Internship
Applications
All students planning to apply to the Sport Management Program may submit the SM Application once they qualify. See page 1 of the application for requirements.
