2023 Summit League Tournament
Eight sport management students had the opportunity to travel to Sioux Falls, SD, and be part of the Summit League Men’s and Women’s basketball tournaments. Students got valuable event management and operations experience and were able to network with professionals in the college sports industry.
2022 Final Four Trip
Sport management students were fortunate to work at the 2022 NCAA Women’s Final Four in Minneapolis. It was a great professional opportunity where students were able to understand championship operations and event management at one of the premier collegiate sporting events in the country.
2020 Phoenix Baseball Trip
For the 3rd consecutive year, Sport Management students embarked on a journey. This time around, they explored minor league baseball operations in Phoenix. Students gained valuable information by meeting with ballpark operations, touring major league facilities and even participating with an organization to provide valuable feedback.
2019 Sport Management NFL Draft Trip
Sport Management students excitedly volunteered in Nashville, TN for 3 days. Students interacted with fans, played on the NFL Play 60 field, turned a young ‘Bama fan into a Bison for the day, and were interviewed on the local Nashville news station.
2018 Sport Management NFL Draft Trip
Minnesota Twins Career Fair Expo
The NDSU Sport Management professional standing students attended the Minnesota Twins Career Expo on September 12th. Students attended the fair as well as received a two hour tour of Target Field and attended the Twins vs. Padres game.
Sport Management Twin Cities Trip
Professional students from the Sport Management program made a trip to the Twin Cities to learn more about the sport management industry. They had the honor of visiting with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Vikings and the National Sport Center. Each opportunity provided valuable knowledge for the students. To cap off the trip, students attended the Timberwolves vs. Cavaliers NBA basketball game and were lucky enough to take a mid-court picture.
