NDSU coatings and polymeric materials graduate student Tetiana Shevtsova’s recent research work is published in the Student Spotlight section of CoatingsTech magazine. This section highlights discoveries emerging from university researchers.
Shevtsova’s article is titled “Hydrophobization of Nanocrystalline and Microfibrillated Cellulose Using Covalent Grafting of Plant Oil-Based Copolymers.” She is a third-year graduate student working under supervision of Andriy Voronov, NDSU associate professor in coatings and polymeric materials.
In June 2023, Shevtsova attended the annual 2023 Coating Tech Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana organized by American Coatings Association, where she received the first place Student Poster Award. Recognizing this achievement, Shevtsova was welcomed to contribute an article about her research to CoatingsTech.
CoatingsTech is a peer-reviewed journal published by ACA. The magazine covers science and technology news related to international coatings and allied industries.
