The Nice Center at NDSU is scheduled to sponsor the Nice Leap Launch, a workshop designed to help students and the community merge their interests with a positive impact on the world.
The workshop is set for Friday, Aug. 21, at Renaissance Hall, 650 Northern Pacific Ave. in Fargo. The session begins at 9:30 a.m. for breakfast snacks, with the workshop running from 10 a.m. to noon.
“The workshop is the launch of a series that is open to students and community members alike, with the goal of getting them to leave their comfort zones and take a leap in creating a project, product or business that is meaningful to them and our world,” said Dane Johnson, Nice Center programs manager.
Nice Leap will be led by The Nice Center and two visiting facilitators from an organization based in Chicago called Experience Institute.
Additional workshops also are scheduled:
- User Research Workshop: Aug. 24
- Prototyping Workshop: Sept. 21
- Storytelling Workshop: Oct. 26
- Nice Leap Showcase: Nov. 19
