NDSU’s College of Business is set to host the third annual “Navigating the Financial Markets” event online Thursday, April 15, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is free to attend and open to the public, but registration is required.
The virtual event will feature a panel of noted financial experts who will discuss the longest expansion in U.S. history, the effects of COVID-19 and share their predictions for the economy and market. The program will begin at 3 p.m. and continue with a question-and-answer session with the panelists at 4 p.m.
Scott Beaulier, Ron and Kaye Olson Dean of Business at NDSU, will moderate the event. Panelists include Lisa Erickson, senior vice president and head of the traditional investments group at U.S. Bank Wealth Management; Mark Simenstad, vice president and chief investment strategist at Thrivent Financial; and Robert Thompson, vice president and director of fixed income at Mairs and Power Inc. and co-manager of the balanced fund.
The event is sponsored by NDSU’s student-led Bison Fund and the CFA Society of Minnesota.
