The NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center’s beef production field day tour, scheduled for July 20, will be live this year.
The beef production tour is one of several tours that will be conducted during the center’s annual field day activities that day. Other tours will be on topics such as agronomy, fruits and berries, and organic/sustainable agriculture.
The field day program is set to begin at 9 a.m. with coffee and a welcome. The beef tour will depart at 9:30 a.m. and continue until noon.
“The beef production tour is a good way to learn about the latest in cattle research and how to deal with the drought that is impacting North Dakota,” said Karl Hoppe, Extension livestock systems specialist at the center.
