NDSU’s 800 Café to present 'Spring Break' meal

Three tropical courses are scheduled to be offered at NDSU's 800 Café on Friday, March 4, in room 312 of the Katherine K. Burgum Family Life Center.

Seating is set to start at 11 a.m. with the last seating at 12:15 p.m.

Sweet Potato Soup will be served first followed by Jamaican Jerk Chicken Tacos with a cabbage slaw and tangy pineapple salsa served on flour tortillas. The meal will be finished with a mango sorbet.

The “Spring Break” meal costs $10 per person, with beverages included. Four meals can be purchased with a $35 punch card. Payments will be accepted in the form of cash or credit at the door on the day of the meal. With limited meals available, reservations are preferred, but walk-ins are also welcomed if there is availability. The meal managers are students Clair Frydenlund and Allie Heck.

When making a reservation, indicate your planned seating time, number of attendees, email and phone number of the person who oversees the reservation. In addition, include any allergies of the attendees, as they will be honored if indicated when making your reservation.

Online reservations are preferred, but reservations can also be made by contacting nancy.moberg@ndsu.edu or by calling 701-231-7474. The class is instructed by Sherri Nordstrom Stastny, professor of health, nutrition and exercise sciences.

Parking is available in the visitor’s pay lot on the South side of the Memorial Union on campus.
