The NDSU Press is scheduled to host its seventh annual Press Party Thursday, March 3, at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Registration is required.
“This year’s celebration includes well known authors from North Dakota, the Red River Valley and an emerging national contingent of authors writing on topics of interest to readers in our region,” said Suzzanne Kelley, NDSU Press publisher and assistant professor of practice. “We can’t offer our usual book cake and libations this year, but our stories will be just as splendid as ever.”
The event celebrates NDSU Press publications during the past year. Featured books and authors include:
• “In Plains Sight,” by Bonnie Larson Staiger
• “Last Poems,” by Timothy Murphy
• “The Night We Landed on the Moon: Essays between Exile and Belonging,” by Debra Marquart
• “A Field Guide to Custer’s Camps: On the March to the Little Bighorn,” by Don Weinell
