A fee, test score or essay is not required at NDSU for undergraduate applicants.
It’s never been easier to apply for admission to NDSU. No application fee, test scores or essay are required for the undergraduate application process.
First year, international and transfer students will need to complete the online application. Each of the three categories has its own application.

Deadline to apply for admission for fall is Aug. 1
Deadline to apply for admission for spring is Dec. 1
Applications are evaluated as documents are received. However, we strongly encourage you to apply by June 1 for fall.
Priority admission deadlines are Nov. 1 (spring) and March 1 (fall). The final deadline to apply is Dec. 15 (spring) and Aug. 1 (fall).
Potential NDSU graduate students can apply and submit supplemental materials and application fee online.
Requirements for domestic and permanent residents or international graduate students also are available online.
