In my lab we study the foraging ecology, habitat selection, and host-pathogen interactions of bat species in the Northern Great Plains region. Specifically, we utilized both field and genomic applications to understand how novel diseases, such as White-Nose Syndrome, can impact the physiology of bats and serve as a driver for evolutionary selection.
