Timothy Greives, Program Director
North Dakota State University, Biological Sciences
My research group investigates the physiological and evolutionary mechanisms regulating life-history transitions in seasonal environments, how variation in these mechanisms lead to variation in timing of seasonal timing, and the effects that this variation in timing has on survival and reproductive success. We primarily use songbirds including red-winged blackbirds and dark-eyed juncos for these investigations.
