Please note: Effective January 1, 2025, a new Metro College Alliance course exchange agreement will serve students in place of the Tri-College University consortium, which sunsets at the end of 2024. Students will continue to enjoy broadened educational opportunities through this partnership and the same seamless course enrollment process. The Metro College Alliance is designed to adapt to the evolving higher education landscape, ensuring that students continue to benefit from the collaborative spirit of the five colleges and universities that adhere to the agreement: Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, North Dakota State College of Science, North Dakota State University, and Minnesota State Community and Technical College.
The Metro College Alliance course exchange program allows students to take two courses per semester at a host campus while taking at least one course at their home campus. (See the Course Exchange and Cooperative Agreement for exceptions.) Students must fill out the Course Exchange Agreement Registration Form and submit the form to the home campus for course registration purposes. From there, campus personnel complete the registration process on behalf of the student once open enrollment begins at the host campus. Students should NOT register for Metro College Alliance courses independently, as they would not be considered without the proper registration forms. Please read the Metro College Alliance Registration Information Guide for all applicable policies and procedures.
