Graduate Assistant (PhD)
My research is focused on deciphering the molecular pathogenesis of small circular DNA viruses, specifically: The torque teno virus and Porcine circoviruses in vivo model. Currently, I am working as a Research Assistant (PhD) under the supervision of Dr. Sheela Ramamoorthy. I have received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and MS in Microbiology degree from Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh. In my quest for knowledge in infectious disease, I did my second Masters in Erasmus Mundus Infectious Diseases and One Health, a program coordinated by European Union. You can call me a die heart Real Madrid Fan (Madridista!!) and I love playing soccer and cricket in my free time. My favourite food is Kacchi Biryani (Flavored rice coupled with Goat meat) and don’t forget to check out how I cook this item.
